Featured Interview With Author Heather Lancaster
Tell us a little about yourself. Where were you raised? Where do you live now?
I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. My primary genre is Christian devotionals. I've spent my life studying the Word of God, and I think it's so important for each and every believer to understand who they are in Christ and what blessings and benefits He has for us. Each person has a calling and a destiny on their life to be used in this time and place.
I currently live in Anderson, SC, with my husband Greg. I also host the eXchanging Eternal Truths podcast that's available on most major platforms.
At what age did you realize your fascination with books? When did you start writing?
I started writing when I was about 12, although I grew up an avid reader. I spent a lot of time in the library reading just about everything I could find, from Shakespeare to romance to sci-fi. I loved it all!
Who are your favorite authors to read? What is your favorite genre to read. Who Inspires you in your writings?
Right now, I've been mostly reading Rick Renner, Jesse Duplantis, and Jonathan Shuttlesworth. For me, it's about getting more into the Scriptures. That's my greatest inspiration.
Tell us a little about your latest book?
Embracing Your Godly Authority is the latest book in the Make Life Better in Just 30 Days series, available on Amazon. While many preachers give messages about authority, this devotional has daily activities and prayers that will help you activate your Godly authority and manifest it in your life. Don't just sit on the sidelines of your Christianity. Walk in all God has for you!
